This Dixon L14AM7X series schedule 10 long-weld ferrule sanitary fitting is made of stainless steel 316L and seals a tube or hose fitting. A ferrule attaches to a fitting to help provide a leak-resistant seal on a tube or hose. This schedule 10 fitting has a thinner wall and is lighter in weight than a standard wall fitting. It is made of stainless steel 316L for strength, enhanced resistance to corrosion, and greater ease in welding than stainless steel 304. The lower carbon content of the material minimizes harmful carbide precipitation due to welding. It has a maximum operating pressure rating of 250 pounds per square inch (psi) at 70 degrees F ambient temperature.
